Comms and Engagement Lead - 6 Month Contract (Hybrid)

We are seeking a Comms and Engagement Lead to support a high-profile government programme. You will develop and deliver strategic communications and stakeholder engagement plans, translate complex policy into clear messaging, and provide guidance to senior leaders. The role involves line management, coordinating cross-programme comms, and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Strong experience in policy communications or stakeholder engagement
• Proven ability to advise senior leaders and simplify complex information
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Leadership experience managing small teams and multiple priorities
• Availability to start on 9th March 2026

• Location:
  
  Hybrid (2-3 days per week in office - London, Bristol, York, Newcastle)
• Duration: 6 months (extension TBC)
• Rate:
  Up to £575/day, Inside IR35
• Eligibility:
  We can only consider applications from those eligible to work in the UK for this position. This position will require some additional checks, to ensure you can access the site worked as needed.
