The current government funding for this role is from the Home Office. At the time of advertisement, funding has not been confirmed by the Home Office for 2026/27 onwards, however we feel confident that funding will continue beyond this financial year for several years to come. It is expected that at the point the recruitment process concludes, we’ll be able to provide an update regarding the duration of contract beyond this financial year.
This role is open to all Police Staff / external candidates who meet the essential criteria of the person spec, regardless of current grade.

Hybrid workingThis Police Staff role adheres to the Corporation of London’s hybrid working policy, which requires a 60% office attendance rate. About The TeamThe role is part of the National Police Chief Council’s national cyber crime team who are led by the Commissioner of City of London Police. The team are responsible for delivering national initiatives on behalf of all police forces within England and Wales and other law enforcement partners.
AboutThe Role
The post holder will be required to give presentations to a wide variety of audiences and levels. This will include the marketing and promotion of the value and benefits of the product to the business community to grow membership in line with the Growth Strategy. The coordinator will be expected to develop and implement a model of engagement and training with all forces and ROCUs to embed the use and promotion of Police Cyber Alarm.
The role holder will be responsible for the development of relationships with key stakeholders and partners in the delivery and promotion of the value and benefits of the product with LEA, public sector partners and the business community.
- Deliver presentations on Police Cyber Alarm to a wide audience of LEA partners including the Cyber Resilience Centres (including the National company and ambassadors), forces and ROCUs, National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), National Crime Agency (NCA), National Police Governance Boards, National Cyber Policing Conferences, and strategic policing partners promoting the value and benefits of the product.
