Minerals And Waste Planning Consultation Lead

Carrington West are assisting their local authority client in the South East with their search for a Minerals and Waste Planning Consultation Lead to support their Planning Team.

The role is an initial 6-month placement, part‑time applicants will be considered, and offers hybrid working with attendance in the office required approximately once per month.

• Providing robust and technically informed minerals and waste planning advice and consultation responses to ensure strategic minerals and waste considerations are fully integrated into decision‑making.
• Supporting the sustainable development of the area in accordance with the Oxfordshire Minerals and Waste Local Plan.
• Preparing and coordinating responses to consultations, including:
  • NSIPs
  • District Council Local Plans
  • Neighbourhood Plans
  • District and County Matter planning applications
  • Neighbouring Authority Local Plans
  • Other Minerals and Waste authority consultations
  • Internal strategies
  • Any other consultations as required
• Maintaining the Minerals and Waste Consultation Database to ensure all consultations received by the team are accurately recorded.
• Monitoring and managing the team inbox to ensure timely responses and effective coordination.

Carrington West pay rate: £45‑£54 per hour (dependent on experience). Job .
