We're looking for a Technical Manager, Sustainability Reporting to join our team in London on a permanent basis.
This role offers a salary of £75,000 - £85,000 and a hybrid working pattern of 2 days in the office and 3 days from home each week.
The primary responsibilities of this role are to:
- Develop and publish high-quality guidance on sustainability reporting, accounting standards and emerging regulatory developments.
- Shape and communicate ICAEW's policy positions and thought leadership on sustainability and non-financial reporting.
- Build and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders, including regulators, standard setters and government bodies.
- Create engaging member content, including factsheets, webinars, workshop materials and digital publications to support professional development.
- Communicate technical updates to members through newsletters, bulletins and other ICAEW communication channels.
- Collaborate with colleagues and members to identify emerging issues and continuously improve sustainability guidance and resources.
- ICAEW Chartered Accountant (ACA/FCA) with a strong technical reporting or assurance background.
- Good understanding of sustainability reporting developments (or the ability and willingness to develop expertise in this area), including an interest in emerging reporting topics.
- Strong technical and analytical skills, with experience interpreting complex standards, guidance or policy and communicating these clearly.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to engage with policymakers, senior leaders and external organisations.
- Strong planning, prioritisation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams.
- Proven people management and leadership skills, with experience monitoring work, maintaining high-quality standards and supporting organisational objectives.
