About the team

The NHS Alliance's policy and analysis team shapes national policy and influences decision makers using evidence, expertise, and a deep understanding of our members' experiences and aspirations for the NHS. We connect members and policymakers, provide clear and credible insight, and offer practical, workable solutions that respond to frontline realities. Through this, we strengthen our members' collective voice and help ensure they can deliver the best possible care.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in other directorates and reflect wider NHS Alliance policy positions in content and activity
  • Draft policy content, such as reports, notes and briefings, and present work at internal meetings
  • Support delivery and scoping of funded projects, working with the commercial team when needed, and provide administrative support where required
  • Support stakeholder and member engagement by preparing briefings, taking notes and sharing intelligence internally
  • Develop relationships with members and be comfortable working with senior NHS leaders
