We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiac MRI Radiographer to join our team in Central London. This role involves working in a specialised clinical environment where you will be responsible for performing a variety of cardiac MRI procedures to assess and diagnose cardiac conditions. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of diagnostic results, which are essential for effective patient care and treatment planning.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting a wide range of cardiac MRI scans, including patient preparation and positioning
- Operating MRI equipment
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborating with cardiologists and healthcare professionals to analyze and interpret imaging results
- Maintaining accurate records
- Developing and implementing imaging protocols and procedures
- Monitoring patients during procedures for any reactions and following safety protocols
Qualifications and Experience:
- HCPC registration
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiography or related field
- Certification in Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (CMR) or equivalent
- Extensive experience in cardiac MRI procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
