What you will do:
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate the needs of individuals requiring major adaptations.
  • Collaborate with builders and contractors to oversee the implementation of adaptation plans.
  • Liaise with clients and their families to ensure adaptations meet their personal requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with local authority guidelines to deliver safe and effective adaptations.
  • Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate records of all assessments and interventions.
Requirements:
  • A degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy is essential.
  • Recent experience working as an Occupational Therapist in the UK is required.
  • Demonstrable experience with the NHS and Major Adaptations is necessary.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council HCPC is mandatory.
