Healthcare support worker

Position Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and dynamic healthcare support worker to join our 6D Specialist Cardiology Ward at Barts Heart Centre. This ward cares for patients with a variety of cardiac problems including congenital heart conditions, heart failure, inherited cardiovascular disease, infective endocarditis, and those post complex cardiac surgery and structural procedures.

• Gain experience in caring for a varied range of specialist cardiology patients, including support with cardiac monitors and other specialist equipment.
• Provide the highest standard of individualized and holistic patient care in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team.
• Supervise and teach junior members of staff as required.
• Maintain personal development with support from the nursing team.
