About Us: NHS Jobs is seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Pharmacist specializing in Oncology & Red Cell Clinical Trials to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position based in London, W12 0HS

Summary

As the Lead Pharmacist for Oncology & Red Cell Clinical Trials, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and effective management of pharmaceutical services within the organization. Your responsibilities will include overseeing clinical trials related to oncology and red cell disorders, ensuring compliance with protocols, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate pharmaceutical services within the oncology and red cell clinical trial areas.
  • Oversee the planning, implementation, and monitoring of clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and contribute to the advancement of medical knowledge in oncology and red cell disorders.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to pharmacy staff involved in clinical trials.
  • Ensure the safe and effective use of medications and adherence to best practices.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Registered Pharmacist with relevant experience in oncology and clinical trials.
  • In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical care and clinical trial regulations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
