We are looking for a driven individual to lead environmental sustainability across the Trust. This role will be responsible for embedding the Trust's Green Plan throughout the organisation, working with all clinical and corporate teams to deliver the Trust's objectives and promote sustainability at every level, including with external partners. The Sustainability Manager will provide coordination, support, and project management expertise to ensure the successful delivery of environmentally sustainable initiatives.
These efforts will support continuous improvement in healthcare service delivery, aligned with the NHS's commitment to achieving net zero by 2040.

A job share may be considered for this post. The post holder will be a key member of the Improvement Team and will be responsible for managing and maintaining core documentation, information, and reporting for the Sustainability Programme and Board. They will also work collaboratively with wider stakeholders to support delivery of key programmes that underpin the Trust's Green Plan. The post holder will support the use of a robust, standardised project management approach to assist with planning and delivery of intended outputs and outcomes.
They will also ensure that the benefits of programmes and projects are realised and embedded into business-as-usual activity.
