Overview
The Children's Allergy Service is seeking a part time 0.6 WTE Senior Clinical Fellow in Paediatric Allergy to join a dynamic, enthusiastic and forward‑thinking team as a fixed‑term position for 12 months from 7th Sept 2026 to 5th Sept 2027.
This post can be used by trainees as an Out of Programme Training post to use towards Allergy SPIN or Out of Programme Experience to gather experience prior to applying for Paediatric Allergy Sub‑speciality Training. It is also suitable for doctors post CCT who want more experience in clinical paediatric allergy and it is suitable for all doctors as a standalone fellow post (subject to fulfilling the criteria to practice in the UK).
Responsibilities- Work 3 days per week as a clinical fellow covering 3 general paediatric allergy outpatient clinics per week (new and follow‑up patients).
- Cover a half‑day day‑case per week.
- Handle responsibilities on the patient query rota, including prescribing drugs for day‑care challenges, patient queries, ward queries, day‑case reactions/queries and triaging referrals.
- Receive a clinical and educational supervisor from the consultant team.
