About Us

Our client is passionate about helping children and young people with learning disabilities and special educational needs (SEN) live happy, safe, and fulfilling lives.

They are opening a 3-bed Ofsted-registered children's home in South Norwood for children aged 8 to 18 years old and they are looking for a Registered Manager to lead the home, shape its culture, and inspire a brand-new team.

The Role

As the Registered Manager, you will take full responsibility for the home's operations, quality, and compliance. You will create a nurturing, supportive environment where every young person feels safe, valued, and empowered to reach their potential.

  • Develop individual care plans tailored to each child's unique needs and goals.
  • Promote safeguarding, emotional well-being, and positive outcomes for all residents.
  • Work closely with families, local authorities, and other professionals to ensure joined-up support.
  • Manage budgets, oversee audits, and drive continuous improvement across the service.
About You

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a management or senior role within a children's residential setting.
  • Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and children's home standards.
  • Relevant qualification in Health & Social Care or equivalent (Level 5 Leadership preferred).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • A caring, child-centred approach and commitment to achieving the best outcomes.
  • Experience leading successful Ofsted inspections.
Why Join us?
  • Be part of a new home launch, make your mark from day one.
  • Supportive senior team and development opportunities.
  • Competitive pay and benefits package.
  • A rewarding career where every day makes a difference.
Interested?
  • If you are ready to take the next step in your career and help shape a brighter future for young people, we would love to hear from you.
  • Deputy Managers or Senior Support Workers with strong leadership experience are especially encouraged to apply.
