The Deputy Medical Director is a senior clinical leader within LCW's Clinical Leadership and Governance function. The role is responsible for quality, safety, performance and transformation across GP practices and Urgent Treatment Centres., The postholder provides senior medical leadership across LCW GP practices and Urgent Treatment Centres, ensuring services are safe,compliant and aligned with commissioner and organisational priorities.
The Deputy Medical Director will oversee clinical governance, safeguarding, medicines management,riskand incident management, and support the delivery of QOF,Enhanced Services, and PCN/ICBrequirements through innovation,strong qualityassuranceand workforce development.
The postholder willbe an experienced GPwith digital and clinicalexpertisewho willmaintainclinical sessions todeliver high-quality, innovative care while driving cultural change, cost efficiency, and service. They will support UCC clinical leads and strengthen PCN and neighbourhood partnerships.
The Deputy Medical Director will also support LCWs strategic goalofexpandingand modernising primary care provision.
