Job Overview
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team of registered pharmacy technicians based at the Denmark Hill site of Kings College Hospital. This role offers experience across hospital pharmacy in dispensary, clinical service and aseptic manufacturing unit.
Responsibilities- Participate in the department 7-day working rota, covering Saturday or Sunday as part of a 6-week pattern and one bank holiday per year.
- Work across rotations in aseptics, dispensary and clinical services.
- Assist in the delivery of pharmacy services in each section.
- Support the preparation and implementation of in-house validation training manual (clinical services).
- For those not already accredited, work towards becoming an Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) while in the dispensary rotation.
- Complete in-house validation training manual in the clinical services rotation.
- Become a validated in-process accuracy checker during the aseptics rotation.
Registered pharmacy technician qualification is required.
Willingness to work the rota including weekends and bank holidays, and to pursue accreditation and training as described.
