Physiotherapist – Community & Clinic, South-West London

The role combines working with older adults, post-operative patients, and people with neurological or musculoskeletal conditions.

The caseload
  • Post-operativeorthopaedicrehabilitation, including joint replacement and fracture recovery
  • Reconditioning following illness or hospital admission
  • Falls prevention, balancerehabilitationand reduced mobility
  • Parkinson’s disease, stroke-related needs,dementia and other neurological presentations
  • Acute injuries and selected musculoskeletal presentations
  • Functional and environmental assessment, including equipment recommendations where appropriate
What you will do
  • Complete comprehensive assessments and agree individual outcome-focused rehabilitation plans
  • Deliver evidence-based treatment in community,careand clinic settings
  • Manage an autonomous caseload from assessment through to discharge
  • Set meaningful goals with patients and the people involved in their care
  • Liaise with relatives, carers, consultants and other professionals
  • Maintain timely,clearandaccurateclinical records and reports
  • Advise on mobility, falls prevention,equipment and environmental considerations
  • Participate in clinical reviews, casediscussionsand professional development

Hours and travel

This is a 40-hour week, usually 09:00–17:30, Monday to Friday (occasional early or late appointments are balanced accordingly).

One Saturday morning per month is covered on a shared rota and paid in addition to salary.
