About the Position

Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars is located directly outside Blackfriars station, a few minutes away from Bank and a short stroll from St. Paul’s Cathedral, the Tate Modern and South Bank. • Prevention of loss to hotel, guests and colleagues while providing a safe, hazard‑free environment according to hotel policies.
• Conduct frequent patrols of all guest floors, public and service areas, including irregular checks of the perimeter.
• Ensure guest rooms, offices, service cupboards and appropriate doors are locked and free from fire and health hazards.
• Investigate all reported or alleged cases of crime or potential crime including theft, loss, damage to guest, staff or hotel property.
• Assist staff, visitors and contractors with verification, preparation, issue and recovery of , visitor passes and pass‑out forms.
• Prevent unauthorised persons from entering the premises and receive all persons seeking admission with courtesy.
• Conduct daily fire patrols, report faults in fire safety equipment and follow up to ensure completion.
• Maintain first‑aid certification to certificate standard.

First‑hand work experience in a similar role, preferably within a hotel environment.

Knowledge of firefighting equipment and procedures, able to respond immediately to an emergency.

Current SIA (Door Supervisor) license and knowledge of relevant laws and legislation.

Working knowledge of CCTV and relevant computer programs.
