We are looking for a Performance Management Consultant for a major People Transformation Programme, modernising how it approaches performance management, pay, and talent development. As part of this strategic shift towards a skills‑based organisation and a high‑performing culture, the Bank is seeking a specialist contractor to lead the design and implementation of a modern, robust performance management framework.
This is a senior, high‑impact role ideal for someone with deep expertise in performance and reward design, organisational change, and transformation delivery within complex environments.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct a thorough review of the Bank’s current performance management processes, policies and cultural context.
- Analyse data, benchmarks and stakeholder insights to identify strengths, challenges and opportunities.
- Design a modern, evidence‑based performance management framework that creates a clear and meaningful link between performance, reward, talent and skills.
- Embed principles of fairness, transparency, capability development and future skills requirements.
- Develop a clear roadmap for implementation, including governance, timelines, interdependencies and resource requirements.
- Recommend supporting policy updates, process improvements and system considerations.
- Lead and support the rollout of the framework across the Bank.
- Partner with HR, Reward, Talent and senior stakeholders to ensure successful delivery and adoption.
- Support testing, refinement and continuous improvement cycles.
- Build strong alignment and sponsorship across senior leaders and cross‑functional teams.
- Communicate complex concepts in clear, accessible ways to drive understanding and engagement.
- Build internal capability by equipping HR teams, managers and internal stakeholders with the knowledge, tools and confidence to sustain the new performance model.
- Proven expertise designing and implementing performance management and pay frameworks in large, complex organisations.

- Demonstrated experience in organisational change and cultural transformation
