Interim HR Business Partner

  • £300 – £350 per day + holiday pay
  • circa two months – opportunity to go perm
  • x2 days on site – Waterloo
  • Tech/Software experience advantageous

We’re looking for a proactive, commercially minded HR professional to play a critical role in a period of organisational transformation. This is a high-impact opportunity for someone with strong Employee Relations expertise, proven restructuring experience, and solid recruitment capability to deliver meaningful results in a fast-moving, evolving environment.

You’ll act as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees alike, guiding the business through complex change while ensuring a fair, compliant, and people-centred approach.

The Role

You will lead and support organisational change initiatives, partnering closely with leaders to manage restructures, employee relations matters, and recruitment needs during and following periods of change.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support organisational restructuring activities, including consultation processes, role design, and redeployment.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing expert guidance throughout restructures and supporting Employee Relations (ER) cases as they arise.
  • Partner with leaders on day-to-day HR matters, ensuring alignment with company policies, employment law, and best practice.
  • Support recruitment and onboarding during and post-restructure, ensuring critical roles are filled efficiently and effectively.
  • Assist across the full employee lifecycle, including performance management, development, and change initiatives linked to restructuring.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve HR processes, including the use of AI, to drive efficiency, scalability, and a positive employee experience.
Skills & Experience
  • Deep expertise in Employee Relations and change management.
  • Proven experience supporting organisational restructures in complex environments.
  • Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to link HR activity to business outcomes.
  • A proactive problem-solver who thrives under tight timelines and ambiguity.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Collaborative mindset with the confidence to influence and drive change.
