Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced functional engineer (Product Developer - Oracle HCM) to support key change initiatives and BAU activities within Oracle HCM. This role plays a crucial role in configuration and delivery of change items, BAU processes and ticket resolution for our employees to enhance and improve our core HR system.
What you’ll be doing- Configuring key Oracle HCM Cloud modules—Global HR, Compensation, Absence Management, Learning & Performance, and HR Helpdesk—to meet evolving business requirements.
- Demonstrating strong technical expertise to support innovative change requests, partnering with HR and Operational Excellence teams to explore and deliver impactful solutions.
- Aligning system changes with the standard BAU calendar to ensure consistency with established HR processes and timelines.
- Leveraging deep knowledge of HR policies and processes to identify and implement system enhancements that drive operational efficiency and compliance.
- Overseeing Oracle quarterly releases and facilitating playback sessions to keep relevant business stakeholders informed and engaged.
- Collaborating with HR and business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document system requirements, translating them into effective configurations within Oracle and ATS platforms.
- Partnering with internal teams—IT, Data, and Integrations—to ensure system design and functionality align with downstream impact assessments.
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation—including user guides, standard operating procedures, and configuration workbooks—to support system integrity and user adoption.
- Proven configuration experience in Oracle HCM is essential.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes.
- Ability to analyse complex HR requirements and design effective solutions within Oracle HCM.
- Ensure data integrity and security within Oracle HCM.
- Hands‑on experience in cloud implementation, configuration, and customisation.
