Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Talent Manager, Employee Relations
This role will support the HR Partner Team to provide a high-quality professional HR service to managers and staff across the School. You will work collaboratively with a complementary HR Advisor to ensure consistent five-day service coverage, with clear allocation of responsibilities and structured handover processes.
Responsibilities- Interpreting policies and procedures and legislative requirements, seeking advice where needed from HR colleagues
- Supporting the HR Partners with employee relations case work – e.g. note taking in formal meetings and ensuring minutes and other confidential correspondence are collated accurately and produced quickly and efficiently
- Supporting the preparation of packs/bundles for formal investigations, grievance and disciplinary hearings
- Providing support for HR project work and guidance and advice on a range of HR issues including contractual queries, employee relations cases and HR policies and procedures
- Taking on delegated responsibility for informal stages of employee relations cases
- CIPD qualified or working towards CIPD graduate level or equivalent professional experience
- Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and its application
- Significant experience of providing a proactive and responsive HR advice & support service and of effective problem solving on a wide range of issues with competing priorities
- Experience of supporting the implementation of new procedures and procedural updates
The post is part-time 14 hours per week (0.4 FTE) and permanent, and forms part of a structured job share arrangement within the HR Partnering team.

The salary will be on the LSHTM salary scale, Grade 5 in the range £39,984 - £45,728 per annum pro-rata (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary "Wellbeing Days".
Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London.
