Location: City Of London
A leading Banking organisation in London is seeking a proactive and experienced HR Business Partner for a critical interim engagement within a dynamic financial services environment.
This is a short-term temporary position, the candidate must be available to start at short notice, if not immediately.
This is an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive generalist HR support to key Front Office divisions. You will act as a trusted advisor to employees and leaders, navigating all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from talent management and employee relations to recruitment.
Responsibilities:- Strategic Business Partnering:
Provide expert HR guidance on daily operations, talent management, employee relations, recruitment, and compensation reviews. - Relationship Management:
Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders across London and Paris, and manage external client interactions. - Recruitment & Headcount Management:
Support recruitment processes, conduct candidate interviews, finalize offer paperwork, and collaborate on accurate headcount and budget tracking. - Employee Relations Expertise:
Advise management on performance, talent development, grievances, and end-to-end management of ER cases, ensuring legal and operational compliance. - Talent & Performance Development:
Drive the annual talent review process, facilitate performance management, and implement impactful development programs. - Project Leadership:
Coordinate and manage key HR projects as required.
Required:
- Proven HR Business Partner
Experience:
Ideally gained within a broad, generalist role, preferably within a fast-paced environment. - UK Employment Law Expertise:
Up-to-date knowledge and application of current UK employment legislation. - Exceptional Communication & Interpersonal
Skills:
Ability to build strong rapport and credibility with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management. - Proactive & Detail-Oriented: A highly organized individual with a strong attention to detail, capable of multi-tasking and ensuring high-quality output.
- Client-Focused Approach: A commitment to delivering excellent service to internal and external clients.
- Strong IT Literacy:
Proficient in Excel and other HR systems. - Financial Services Experience (Desirable):
Previous exposure to the investment banking industry is a significant advantage. - CIPD or Equivalent Qualification (Desirable).
