Head of HR

About the role..

An exciting time to join the organisation you will be the Head of HR reporting into the Chief People Office supporting c 3000 employees across a London transport business. With two HRBP's as direct reports you will be building a new HR offering and professionalising HR across the London side of the transport business.

The business is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic senior HR generalist operating at Head of HR or HR Director level to partner with the Transport Operations Leadership Team, serving as a trusted advisor on all HR related activity. The role will involve managing employee relations inclusive of partnering with external trade union organisations. Building on a talent management and development strategy, strategic workforce planning, wellbeing and reviewing and implementing innovative learning and development enhancements.

Both a strategic and operational role you will be oversee all HR activity across this side of the business alongside your HRBP's and with the direction and overarching people strategy from the CPO. This role is a real opportunity to build a HR offering that works within this area of the business and will need someone operationally strong with an excellent employee relations experience.
