As part of the Adecco Group, Akkodis employs over 50,000 engineers and digital specialists across 30 countries in North America, EMEA, and APAC. Our teams bring extensive cross-sector knowledge in critical technology areas such as mobility, software services, robotics, simulations, cybersecurity, AI, and data analytics, enabling clients to tackle complex challenges in today’s rapidly evolving markets.

With a comprehensive solution portfolio across four service lines—Consulting, Solutions, Talents, and Academy—Akkodis supports clients from concept through to full-scale deployment and optimisation. Our diverse offerings help organisations rethink product development, accelerate productivity, reduce time-to-market, and prepare for the future. At Akkodis, you’ll join a dynamic environment that values continuous learning and global collaboration, where you can make a meaningful impact through innovative projects that shape the future of technology.

Scope

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist within Akkodis, your role will be integral to our growth strategy. Initially, you will focus on sourcing CVs and conducting initial qualification calls with candidates. During your induction phase, you will be fully supported by your coaches and manager to ensure you are well-prepared for your responsibilities. You will also have access to our e-academy platform for comprehensive training.

As you progress, your role will expand, and you will be able to take on additional responsibilities in the recruitment cycle, aligning with our culture and standards.

Role

As a Life Sciences Talent Acquisition Specialist within Akkodis, you will play a key role in supporting the growth of our newly established UK Life Sciences Business Unit. While the UK practice is in its first year, it is backed by a well-established global business and has already demonstrated strong growth. You will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, leading hiring activities from candidate qualification through to offer management and pre-onboarding, while building strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and key business stakeholders.

You will recruit across a broad range of Life Sciences disciplines, including AI & Digital Health, Scientific & Laboratory Services, Drug Discovery, Drug Development, Clinical Research, Regulatory Affairs, and Quality functions. In addition to delivering talent solutions, you will support Sales Operations and Practice Leadership through regular market mapping, rate benchmarking, pricing, and costing activities. Experience recruiting within Life Sciences is essential, while knowledge of systems such as LIMS, Veeva Vault, CTMS, EDC, or other Life Sciences technologies would be advantageous but is not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from candidate qualification through to offer management and pre-onboarding.
  • Source, attract, and engage high-quality Life Sciences professionals across permanent and contract hiring requirements.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines across key disciplines including AI & Digital Health, Scientific & Laboratory Services, Drug Discovery, Drug Development, Clinical Research, Regulatory Affairs, and Quality.
  • Conduct candidate screening, qualification, competency-based interviews, and assessment activities.
  • Partner with hiring managers, Practice Leaders, and Sales teams to understand current and future hiring requirements.
  • Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies using job boards, Linked In Recruiter, networking, referrals, and market mapping activities.
  • Maintain accurate candidate and client information within internal recruitment systems, ensuring timely updates and effective recruitment workflow…
