Principal Recruiter

SCCD Training Ltd is seeking an experienced Principal Education Recruiter with a proven track record in placing teachers and established relationships across schools and Multi-Academy Trusts. You will drive our teacher placement division, expanding our footprint across primary, secondary, and further education sectors by leveraging your network and connecting top-tier teaching talent with our school partners.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development:
Utilize existing school networks to secure new placement opportunities and build long-term partnerships with headteachers and trust leaders.

Full-Cycle Recruitment:
Source, vet, and place qualified teachers and support staff into permanent, contract, and supply roles.

Pipeline Management:
Build a high-caliber candidate pool through direct headhunting, network referrals, and SCCD’s internal graduate pipeline.

Safeguarding & Compliance:
Maintain strict adherence to UK education compliance standards (KCSIE, DBS, and reference checks).

What We’re Looking For

3+ years of education recruitment experience with a focus on teacher placement.

Active, established relationships with local schools and educational leaders.

Strong knowledge of UK education safeguarding and compliance protocols.

Proven track record of hitting target revenues and expanding client accounts.
