Plexus is partnering with a long-standing DeFi protocol building a next-generation trading platform. They’re pioneering a new model for automated strategies and are now looking for a Senior DeFi Backend Engineer to help build the core systems powering it.

You’ll join a highly technical team working across general backend systems engineering along with APIs, optimising the application for performance, arbitrage bots and more.

• 3+ years experience with backend Python, including async systems, data pipelines, or protocol-level integrations.
• 1+ year of recent Rust experience, with the ability to read, modify, and contribute to Rust-based components.
• Dev Ops experience, ideally with Docker.
• Background in DeFi, having worked at a DeFi company or shipped meaningful DeFi projects (AMMs, bots, indexers, trading systems, or protocol integrations).

• Above market pay + tokens.
• Fully remote.
