SAC Tester

We are seeking a highly skilled
SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Testing Consultant
with strong expertise in analytics platforms, including SAP Business Objects (BOBJ). The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in SAC security controls, role management, transport mechanisms, and end‑to‑end testing of analytical solutions. This role involves leading SAC implementation and enhancement testing initiatives while ensuring robust governance, scalable architecture, and seamless integration testing with enterprise data platforms such as SAP Datasphere and SAP BW.

• Lead end-to-end SAC implementation and enhancement testing projects, including requirement analysis, design understanding, test planning, test script preparation, execution, and defect management.
• Translate SAC dashboard/story design concepts into comprehensive test cases and ensure full functional and technical coverage.
• Review and validate visually compelling SAC dashboards and stories built using responsive layouts, dynamic widgets, input controls, and conditional formatting.

• Analyse and test FI (Financial Accounting) reporting dashboards such as Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cost Center, and General Ledger reports.
• Perform end-to-end validation of data flows, calculations, and integration logic between SAC and backend systems.

• Evaluate and test SAC security frameworks including roles, teams, authorization concepts, and user provisioning.
• Analyse SAC content lifecycle processes including transport management, publication scheduling, and dashboard refresh automation.
• Work collaboratively with IT security teams to ensure alignment with enterprise-level governance and compliance standards.

• Validate SAC integration with SAP Datasphere, SAP BW, and other data sources using both live and import connections.
• Support testing of data modelling components including semantic layers, calculated measures, aggregations, and hierarchies.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, consistency, and traceability between SAC and underlying data platforms.

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, data analysts, and IT teams to translate requirements into testable scenarios.
• Conduct workshops, training, demos, and knowledge-sharing sessions to support SAC adoption and best practices.
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation including test cases, technical designs, security matrices, transport logs, and user guides.

• Establish, enforce, and test adherence to SAC development standards, naming conventions, version control, and documentation guidelines.
• Recommend enhancements to improve performance, scalability, and usability of SAC reports and dashboards.
