Introduction to the Mayor’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy

The Mayor’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy aims to create a fairer, more equal, integrated city where all people feel welcome and able to fulfil their potential.

In November 2022, the Mayor published new equality objectives, replacing those in ‘Inclusive London’ from 2018.

The equality, diversity and inclusion evidence base informs the Mayor's strategy, outlining inequality between different Londoner groups for various social policy issues.

Key indicators monitor the state of equality in London, ensuring the strategy's priorities remain relevant and guiding future decision-making.
