Lloyds Banking Group (LBG) is the UK’s leading bank with over 30 million customers and the largest digital bank. With a multi‑channel approach, a £10 bn transformation programme and an aim to be the best bank for customers, LBG’s Customer & Commercial Platform delivers new or enhanced propositions for underserved segments within the bank.

Our work is predominantly app focused, across the three main brands of Lloyds, Halifax and Bank of Scotland, serving over 21 million customers. The design team works closely with product, analytics and engineering to solve problems for customers – researching, crafting and delivering new and innovative propositions and features. It’s an exciting time as we broaden and evolve our offering to build deeper, more valuable relationships with customers.

Responsibilities
  • Lean towards the discovery and UX side of product design, designing the app experience for Goals and Planning propositions.
  • Contribute to design workshops, conduct competitor research, create wireframes, journey maps, support user research and more.
  • Work closely with the design squad, proactively communicate, contribute ideas and challenge each other's thinking.
  • Live in Figma and Figjam; whiteboard sessions, wire framing and prototyping are your bread and butter.
  • Run stakeholder calls to share new concepts, work head‑down on new flows or listen in to usability tests with customers.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Highly skilled and competent, with pride in your work and strong attention to detail.
  • Experience designing for iOS/Android apps and up‑to‑date with best practices.
  • Own your work, manage time effectively, balance multiple tasks.
  • Proactive, always looking for the next innovation or efficiency.
  • Passionate about delivering all things UX and product design; a bold, positive and inclusive culture fits well.
Benefits
  • Generous pension contribution of up to 15 %.
  • Annual performance‑related bonus scheme.
  • Share schemes including free shares.
  • Benefits you can adapt to your lifestyle, such as discounted shopping.
  • 30 days holiday, with bank holidays on top.
  • Range of wellbeing initiatives and generous parental leave policies.
Inclusion & Culture

We are committed to creating a values‑led culture that reflects the diversity of the customers and communities we serve. We want our people to feel that they belong and can be their best, regardless of background, identity or culture. We were one of the first major organisations to set goals on diversity in senior roles, create a menopause health package and a dedicated Working with Cancer initiative.

We especially welcome applications from under‑represented groups. We are disability confident – if you need reasonable adjustments, just let us know.

If you’re excited by the thought of becoming part of our team, get in touch. We’d love to hear from you.
