The RoleWe are seeking a highly technical and analytical Data Analyst to produce reports, statistics, market intelligence and forecasts using raw mathematical modelling and analysis. You will come from an analytical background with a mathematics, natural sciences or computer science degree and have proven experience analysing data in a technology business.
What you'll be doing- Interpreting data, analysing results, producing executive reports and briefings
- Collating operational and real time data to produce custom reports
- Actively suggesting improvements to data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimise statistical efficiency and quality
- Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining data systems
- Identifying, analysing and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Working with management to prioritise business and information needs
- Locating, defining and improving any data collation and analysis processes
- Ability to present data in a concise and user-friendly manner
- Liaising with developers to improve the quality of the reporting tools and enhancements
- Producing specific reports tailored for customers and suppliers
- Producing daily performance reports in a timely manner
- Diagnosing problems
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Natural Sciences or Mathematics
- Experience working as a business or data analyst in technology or SaaS business
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional, diplomatic with the ability to interface with customers
- Analytical, knowledgeable and passionate about data analysis
- Knowledge of Excel, XML and Java
We offer hybrid working which requires 3 days per week minimum to be based in our Central London office.
