The Organisation

A leading vetrans charity is undergoing a significant and strategically important transformation — migrating its CRM platform from CareNG to Microsoft Dynamics 365. This is a high-visibility project with direct impact on the charity's ability to support the veterans and service families it exists to serve.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced CRM Project Manager to own end-to-end delivery of this implementation — from initial planning through to full rollout and post-go-live aftercare.

This is not a change management role. We need a hands-on project delivery professional who is equally comfortable driving vendor accountability and working with end users to ensure genuine adoption. The two things must go together.

The contract is structured for 18 months to cover the full project lifecycle, with additional flexibility built in for snagging and post-launch support. This engagement is confirmed outside IR35, making it well-suited to limited company contractors.

What You'll Be Doing

* Leading full project delivery: planning, milestone management, risk and issue tracking, and reporting to senior stakeholders

* Managing the relationship with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation vendor and holding them to account

* Overseeing data migration from CareNG, ensuring integrity, accuracy, and minimal disruption

* Developing and delivering a stakeholder engagement plan that builds buy-in at all levels

* Designing and coordinating user training to drive confident adoption across the organisation

* Supporting the team through go-live and managing the aftercare and snagging phase through to project close

What We're Looking For

* Proven track record delivering CRM implementations — ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CE/Customer Engagement)

* Experience managing third-party vendors and system integrators

* Strong data migration background, with an understanding of the risks and practicalities involved

* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills — you can translate technical complexity into plain language

* Experience designing or coordinating end-user training programmes

* Charity, not-for-profit, or public sector experience is highly desirable but not essential

* Familiarity with CareNG is a genuine bonus

The Detail

* Rate: £450–£600 per day (dependent on experience)

* Duration: 18 months (with scope for additional days for snagging/aftercare)

* IR35 Status:
Outside IR35 — limited company contractors welcome

* Location:

Hybrid — minimum 3 days per week on-site, particularly during the initial phases.
