Role OverviewThe QA Analyst Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT) is responsible for executing operational readiness testing, producing operational evidence, and validating that systems meet production‑readiness and supportability requirements before go‑live.
You will work closely with delivery, infrastructure and Dev Ops teams to ensure services are stable, recoverable, monitored and supportable in a live environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesOAT Test Execution
- Monitoring validation
- Alert simulation
- Backup and restore testing
- Failover execution
- Batch restart validation
- Stability and soak testing
- Access and support readiness checks
Evidence & Risk Management
- Capture detailed operational test evidence
- Log and track operational defects
- Retest and validate fixes
- Maintain the OAT artefact repository and audit records
Collaboration
- Work with infrastructure and Dev Ops teams to validate operational readiness
- Participate in review and walkthrough sessions
- Support release and milestone readiness reviews
- 47 years of QA / Testing experience
- Experience in SIT/UAT with exposure to Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT)
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
- Experience working in controlled or regulated environments
- Understanding of production readiness and operational support processes
- Experience in cloud environments (Azure/AWS)
- Exposure to monitoring tools and logging platforms
- Understanding of incident, problem and change management processes
- Experience working in Agile delivery teams
