Are you a cloud visionary who bridges the gap between Azure Infrastructure and Deep-Level Linux Engineering
? We are looking for a high-caliber Azure Architect to lead large-scale, complex migrations for a 6-month initial contract (with strong extension potential).
This is a unique opportunity to own the end-to-end solutioning—from initial assessment to high-level design and hands‑on performance tuning.
The RoleAs the Technical Lead for a team of 5+ engineers, you will drive the strategy and delivery of Azure Landing Zones and complex workload migrations. You'll be the subject matter expert for:
- Cloud Strategy: Designing HLD/LLD, BoM pricing, and architectural roadmaps.
- Migration Excellence: Leading On‑prem to Cloud transitions using Azure Migrate
. - Linux Mastery: Deep‑dive troubleshooting of networking, clusters, and kernel tuning (RHEL/CentOS focus).
- Security & Governance: Managing Azure Key Vault, IAM, and high-security UNIX environments.
- Experience: 12+ years in IT with 5+ years dedicated to Azure (IaaS/PaaS, Networking, Storage).
- Linux Expertise: Strong hands‑on skills in shell scripting, DNS, Postfix, and performance tuning (Varnish/HAProxy).
- Leadership: Proven ability to govern technical teams and manage senior stakeholders.
- Clearance: Active SC Clearance is mandatory.
- Certifications (Bonus): AZ-305, AZ-104, RHCE, or RHCA.
- Location: London, UK (Hybrid: 2 days per week in‑office).
- Duration: 6 Months + Extension.
- Compliance: Inside IR35.
