The OpportunityWe are looking for a Solutions Consultant to help grow our strategic partnership with Workiva
, a leading platform in reporting, compliance and financial transformation.
This role sits at the intersection of consulting, presales and commercial ownership
.
You will take qualified opportunities and guide them from initial discovery through solution design, proposal and close
. Success in this role comes from understanding complex client challenges, presenting compelling solutions and structuring engagements that deliver real business value.
Unlike a traditional sales role, this position is focused on solution expertise, structured discovery, and strong stakeholder engagement
.
It is particularly well suited to someone currently working in:
- Solutions Consulting
- Client-facing technology consulting
- Finance transformation consulting with exposure to sales cycles
- Guide opportunities from discovery through to contract signature
- Run structured discovery sessions with finance and executive stakeholders
- Identify key business challenges and shape solution approaches
- Translate client challenges into clear technology and consulting solutions
- Support solution demonstrations, workshops and executive presentations
- Develop compelling solution narratives that articulate business value
- Define project scope, delivery approach and commercial structures
- Work closely with consulting teams to ensure solutions are positioned for successful delivery
- Develop proposals and statements of work
- Work closely with Workiva’s sales and partnership teams on joint opportunities
- Strengthen the strategic partnership through successful deal execution
- Support go-to-market initiatives and joint pipeline development
- Maintain momentum across opportunities and ensure structured deal progression
- Contribute to partnership revenue growth targets
- Ensure opportunities are well positioned for long-term client success
We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience in solutions consulting, presales or client-facing consulting roles within technology environments
.
You might currently be working as a:
- Solutions Consultant
- Solutions Architect (client-facing)
- Consulting Manager involved in presales or solutioning
Key attributes include:
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Ability to lead discovery workshops and understand client requirements
- Experience demonstrating or presenting technology solutions
- Commercial awareness and ability to guide opportunities toward close
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Experience with
finance, reporting, data or compliance technologies is advantageous but not essential.
