Job Summary

As the Enterprise Architect – Data & Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in driving our Data & Analytics (D&A) strategy and ensuring the successful design and implementation of scalable data architectures that support both analytics and AI across our Azure and AWS environments. You will be responsible for and focus on ensuring that our data platforms and AI models are integrated seamlessly into our technology stack, while fostering a culture of reusability, scalability, and innovation.

The ideal candidate will have technical expertise in both cloud-native and legacy data systems, with a proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver data-driven solutions that meet business needs.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, implementation, and management of Allvue’s data architecture and analytics framework.
  • Establish best practices for data modelling, data warehousing, and data governance.
  • Lead the development and deployment of advanced analytics solutions, including predictive and prescriptive analytics.
  • Lead efforts to modernize data systems, transitioning from on-prem legacy architectures to cloud native data lakes, warehouses, and advanced analytics platforms.
  • Collaborate with the Head of AI Architecture, data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure that AI models and data platforms are aligned with business goals and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Foster a product engineering mindset within the data architecture and engineering teams, ensuring that data solutions are built with reusability, flexibility, and scalability in mind.
  • Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance, ensuring that all data architectures meet regulatory requirements and protect sensitive information.
  • Oversee the integration of Dev Ops practices into data pipelines and AI solution deployment, ensuring automation, efficiency, and continuous improvement across Allvue’s data ecosystem.
  • Communicate complex technical architectures and data strategies to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with broader enterprise architecture and business objectives.
Requirements
  • At least ten years experience designing and architecting large-scale, data solutions.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing enterprise-level data architecture solutions.
  • Proven expertise in AWS and/or Azure services, Snowflake (or similar), relational databases, documents stores, key value stores, streaming and messaging systems, Lakehouse architecture, data warehouses, ETL pipelines, and AI/ML frameworks.
  • Strong experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud-based data architectures, including data storage, processing and AI integration.
  • Expertise in data governance, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and implementing robust security practices across both cloud and legacy environments.
