Databricks Data Platform Solution Architect

We are looking for a Solution Architect within our Data & AI Practice to partner with clients and drive transformative change using the latest AI and data technologies. The role requires a client‑centric approach, delivering high‑value business outcomes through strategic solutioning, architectural leadership, and collaborative consulting.

• Work closely with delivery teams and client stakeholders to provide technical leadership, shape deals and propositions, drive architectural decisions, create plans and roadmaps, and produce design artifacts.
• Play a key role in the sales process by creating solutions that innovate, inspire, and win new business.
• Shape high‑level design, estimates, and contractual details for client proposals in collaboration with subject‑matter experts.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to junior colleagues within and across the organization.
• Translate complex technical concepts into easy‑to‑understand language and value‑based outcomes for senior business stakeholders, technology leaders, and internal sales teams.
• Engage in early conversations with clients and sales teams, support origination and deal qualification, capture requirements, solution, recommend best practices, and build strong relationships to become a trusted advisor.
• Prepare and represent solutions in Deal Reviews, and participate in client presentations and negotiations with key buyers.
• Work collaboratively with Data & AI leadership to shape current and future offerings, accelerators, and background IP to support go‑to‑market activities.
• Lead development of intelligent data platform projects: integrate data from multiple systems, transform through lakehouse architectures, and make data available for reporting, AI, and conversational analytics.
• Maintain awareness of channels to market and the ability to work within the Databricks and Microsoft ecosystem to ensure customer success.
• Exhibit high energy and intent to help clients understand the fast‑moving data industry, product and service evolution.
• Experience working with stakeholders to create technical visions, high‑level architectures, and delivery roadmaps for large programs involving the latest data and AI concepts, particularly focusing on scaling data use across enterprises.
• Capable of creating design artifacts and presenting them for approval at architectural forums attended by multi‑disciplined stakeholders from engineering to senior client executives.
• In‑depth understanding of modern Data & AI capabilities such as structured and unstructured data analysis, streaming data, IoT, AI, GenAI, and related analytics fields.
• Comfortable engaging and leading sales and business development opportunities with clients.

• Hold Databricks certifications, ideally the Databricks Champion or equivalent knowledge and experience.
• Strong experience in AI engineering, data platforms, reporting, and self‑serve analytics.
• Experience designing and delivering large enterprise data platforms using Databricks and Azure services.
• Proven ability to influence C‑level clients and lead solutioning conversations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to coach and mentor junior teammates.
• Deep understanding of agentic AI and automation.
