We’re working with a leading digital transformation consultancy delivering large-scale cloud, platform and AI programmes across enterprise and public sector clients.

They’re looking for a GCP Architect with a strong consulting background to lead the design and delivery of modern cloud solutions. This is a client-facing role suited to someone who can combine hands‑on technical expertise with strategic thinking and stakeholder engagement.

You’ll play a key role shaping cloud architecture, guiding engineering teams, and helping clients modernise complex technology environments using Google Cloud.

• Designing and leading delivery of cloud‑native solutions on Google Cloud
• Owning architecture decisions across platforms, applications and data services
• Working closely with clients to shape technical strategy and delivery roadmaps
• Driving best practices across Dev Ops, security, scalability and resilience
• Supporting and mentoring engineering teams within agile delivery environments
• Contributing to proposals, technical discovery sessions and solution design workshops

You’ll work across a modern Google Cloud ecosystem including:

• Terraform
• Java and/or Python
• Vertex AI and AI‑enabled services
• CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops tooling

• Strong consulting or client‑facing delivery experience
• Proven background designing and delivering GCP solutions
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and modern engineering practices
• Experience working within agile delivery teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to balance innovation with pragmatic delivery

• Google Cloud certifications
• Experience with in regulated or public sector environments
• Exposure to AI/ML or large‑scale data platforms

• Hybrid working model based around London
• Candidates must be eligible for SC Clearance
