Role Overview
Condé Nast is a global media company that produces high‑quality content through print, digital, video and social platforms. We are seeking a motivated, curious and detail‑oriented individual to support our People team in optimizing and maintaining our Workday HCM environment, delivering accurate people‑insights through data analysis and reporting.
Responsibilities- Provide end‑user support by troubleshooting, issue remediation, and critical issue management using Service Now.
- Maintain and update all documentation, including Workday user guides and process documentation.
- Collaborate with the Technology team to ensure user requests align with our Workday global design principles.
- Support the wider People Technology & Data team with testing, simple reporting, report building, mass loads (EIBs) and routine system maintenance.
- Conduct reporting and data analysis for compliance and ad‑hoc requests.
- Perform system and data audits to ensure compliance with our data governance models.
- Train end users on new processes and functionality, developing user procedures, guidelines and documentation.
- Provide Workday training for new hires and continued education for existing People Team members.
- Document all changes to the Workday system and security, and capture evidence of testing.
- Lead our Workday Community and advise users about the latest enhancements for future releases.
- Experience in HRIS (Workday preferred) and HR Analytics, or recent bachelor’s or master’s graduates with relevant degree experience.
- Proficient in Google Sheets and Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, IF, COUNTIF).
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
- Handles confidential and sensitive information with discretion, focusing on GDPR and data privacy.
- Curious, open to trial and error, and actively seeks to grow technical and non‑technical skills.
- Strong analytical thinking, able to break down complex problems, identify trends and draw logical, data‑driven conclusions.
- Excellent communication skills, a good listener, and able to articulate ideas clearly.
- Experience with data manipulation tools such as SQL, Python (Pandas), and R.
- Experience with data visualisation processes.
