Technical Solution Arhcitect

Contract Opportunity | Hospitality & Leisure Sector | London Hybrid
Duration: Initial 6-month contract with strong extension potential

We are supporting a major hospitality organisation as part of a wider transformation programme, they are looking to engage an experienced Senior Technical Solution Architect to help shape and guide their evolving technology landscape.

This is a high-impact role focused on defining technical direction across a complex, multi-business environment where systems, platforms and processes currently vary significantly across the group.

Working closely with programme leadership, you will act as the senior technical authority across discovery and delivery initiatives, helping drive both long-term architectural strategy and shorter-term business-focused improvements.

The organisation is tasked with accelerating transformation outcomes while continuing broader discovery activity. They therefore require an architect who can balance strategic thinking with pragmatic delivery, identifying quick wins while establishing a scalable future-state architecture.

You will operate across enterprise and solution architecture, bringing strong understanding of applications, data ecosystems, platforms and user-facing insight solutions.

• Define and evolve the target technical architecture and strategic technology vision
• Develop architecture roadmaps and implementation sequencing
• Provide architectural governance and technical assurance across programmes
• Partner closely with programme management and cross-functional delivery teams
• Shape data product strategy and how insight tools are consumed by business stakeholders
• Support the development of dashboards, decision-support tools and business applications
• Translate technical direction into measurable commercial value and business outcomes
• Engage confidently with senior stakeholders across technology and business functions

• Proven experience in roles such as Enterprise Architect, Solution Architect, Technical Architect or Architecture Director
• Background operating within large-scale, complex enterprise environments
• Strong understanding of data platforms, application ecosystems and analytics/BI solutions
• Ability to connect technology decisions with ROI, operational efficiency and business impact
  
  Experience building architecture roadmaps and guiding transformation programmes
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity, evolving priorities and fast-paced delivery environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder management capability
• Broad technical grounding with previous hands‑on engineering or development experience

• Exposure to Azure and Databricks environments
• Experience with in hospitality, travel, tourism, leisure or other multi‑site consumer organisations
• Consulting or client‑facing leadership experience at Director level or equivalent
• Familiarity working alongside programme managers and multidisciplinary transformation teams
• Previous AWS exposure would also be viewed positively
