As a Senior Manager, it is essential to establish, maintain, and strengthen relationships both internally and in the market. You will be seen as a trusted advisor to your clients across various sectors (e.g. Banking and Capital Markets, Insurance and Wealth and Asset Management). You will communicate complex messages and implement difficult decisions while building and maintaining strong relationships based on trust.
You will adapt to diverse cultural and personal styles to work effectively with various differences, concerns, and motivations, fostering the creation of teams that leverage diverse skills and strengths from across the organisation. Additionally, you will demonstrate an awareness of group dynamics to promote an inclusive approach that results in timely, authentic feedback and coaching being provided to all colleagues and team members.
You will have responsibility for business and solution development, along with being focused on the external market. At the same time as maintaining strong client relationships and delivering exceptional client service and delivery outcomes you will need to manage multiple client teams and engagement types.

- Understanding the IT landscape of our clients with key focus on payment domain and being able to assure and advise on the associated risks. This would include but is not limited to areas such as their adoption of cloud, use of Artificial Intelligence and Robotic Process Automation.
- Coordinate, plan and deliver client engagements to identify risks, test controls and provide an opinion on the security of the clients’ IT environment.
- Establishing, maintaining, and strengthening relationships both internally and in the market, to be seen as a trusted advisor to clients.
- Business development including client relationship management, proposition development and leading proposals, supporting business development activities on strategic and global priority accounts.
- Excellent project management skills and experience in managing engagement economics, including budgeting, billing and fee management.
- Delivering an exceptional client experience across all engagements, through open and proactive communication, along with high quality outcomes and deliverables.
- Using extensive knowledge of the client’s business/industry to identify technological developments and evaluate the risks and impacts on the client’s business.
- Building relationships with colleagues across the business, supporting them and promoting a collaborative culture and design innovative solutions.
- Driving industry research and client thought leadership.
- Bringing together the right mix of diverse talent and working across boundaries to foster agile cross functional group teaming.
- Taking responsibility for team understanding on risk, independence, objectivity and how compliance with our policies underpins all that we do. As a trusted business advisor specialising in the Technology Risk field with key focus on payments domain, you will be responsible for identifying, addressing, and resolving questions that have not yet been considered by our clients.
- Demonstrable, extensive professional experience in managing and delivering audits, attestations and risk assessments within payments domain on FS clients, including fostering and maintaining key client relationships to enable timely delivery, cost efficiency, and high audit quality.
- Extensive experience in business development and solution creation.
- Proven experience in managing, delivering and owning the client relationship over:
- Subject knowledge in payments domain (national and cross-border payments) and good understanding of national payment schemes such as (Bacs, FPS and ICs), LINK, Bacs-CASS, CHAPS, CREST, and SWIFT.
- Experience in conducting payment attestations, SWIFT Customer Security Programme (CSP) reviews and Second Payment Services Directive (PSD2) audits.
- A demonstrable professional IT Internal Audit experience.
