Senior AI Consultant

Job Overview

This role focuses on designing and delivering AI, data science, and advanced analytics solutions using the Microsoft Azure technology stack. You will work on projects across AI, machine learning, and data platforms for customers, taking ownership from problem definition through to production delivery. The position is client‑facing, so the ideal candidate must be comfortable speaking with clients and willing to travel occasionally.

• Deliver projects that utilize the Microsoft Azure technology stack across AI, Data Science, Machine Learning, and advanced analytics domains.
• Contribute to the creation of new AI‑ and data‑science‑based offerings by staying current with developments in the AI field.
• Satisfy the expectations and requirements of customers, both internal and external.
• Support colleagues in their professional development.
• Contribute to internal and external communities (e.g., Azure AI, Microsoft Foundry, AI Search, Document Intelligence, AI Services).
• Participate in discovery, solution design, and consultative workshops.
• Manage technical and non‑technical client stakeholders and build lasting relationships.
• Contribute to early‑stage client engagement and presales activities, such as technical demonstrations.
• Engage in professional mentorship, both as a mentor and a mentee.
• Communicate effectively in written and spoken English with outstanding interpersonal skills.

• Familiarity with LLMs & Agentic AI concepts (Prompt Engineering, RAG, Lang Chain, Lang Graph, MCP, Tool Usage).
• Data Science & Machine Learning using Databricks, Python, scikit‑learn, XGBoost, MLflow, and EDA.
• Azure Data & Computation services: ADLS, Cosmos DB / No
  
  SQL databases, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, SQL Databases.
• Data manipulation: SQL, Pandas, PySpark, Python.
• Azure Dev Ops and CI/CD pipelines.
• Application development with Docker, Kubernetes, FastAPI, React.
• MLOps lifecycle management (monitoring, deployment, retraining).
• Azure infrastructure & architecture design.
• Data visualisation:
  Power BI, Tableau.
• Deep learning technologies:
  Tensor Flow / PyTorch.
• Principles of agentic AI evaluation & observability, responsible AI & ethical risk management, data science / machine learning theory, data warehouse theory, and data architecture & modelling.

• Industry experience delivering AI and/or DS & ML solutions with a solid grounding in all associated areas.
• Experience running discovery, solution design, and consultative workshops.
• Proven ability to manage project risks and track time.
• Strategic and operational decision‑making skills.
• Degree in computer science, data analysis, AI, Machine Learning, or related field.
• Microsoft certification is a plus; however, it is not mandatory.
• Comfortable with at least three core technologies listed above and interested in at least four additional core/supporting technologies.
• Current Microsoft / Databricks certifications are useful but not required; we support certification acquisition.
