Data Management Lead

Location: Hybrid – London (Monday + 1 additional office day)

Salary: up to £120,000 + benefits

I am working with a leading investment organisation currently building out a new data capability and looking to appoint a Data Management Lead to play a central role in shaping it.

This is a newly created position where you'll own the ongoing development and operational management of an enterprise data platform supporting investment, risk, operations and reporting teams. You'll sit at the intersection of business stakeholders, technology teams and external partners, helping ensure data services are reliable, scalable and aligned to business priorities.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working across business and technology, taking ownership of data platforms and influencing how data is governed, delivered and used across an organisation.

• Own the day-to-day management and evolution of an enterprise data platform and associated data services
• Act as the key point of coordination between business users, technology teams and third-party vendors
• Manage and prioritise backlogs, enhancements, change requests and platform improvements
• Support dashboard and reporting capabilities across the wider business
• Drive governance, data quality, service performance and continuous improvement initiatives

• Experience owning or managing enterprise data platforms or data services
• Strong stakeholder management experience across business and technical teams
• Experience working with third-party vendors or managed service providers
• Strong experience with Snowflake or similar cloud-based data platforms
• Investment Management or pensions experience would be advantageous
