Azure DevOps Engineer

Salary: £54,000 - 66,000 per year

• Active or recently lapsed SC clearance
• Extensive hands‑on experience delivering solutions on Microsoft Azure
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation, and Git-based workflows (Git Hub)
• Advanced Infrastructure-as-Code experience, particularly with Terraform
• Ability to collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to improve cloud capability
• Experience in SRE or live production support is beneficial but not mandatory

• Assist with the migration of applications and services into Azure
• Support teams in applying the Azure Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF)
• Design, build, and enhance automated deployment pipelines
• Develop and maintain IaC solutions using tools such as Terraform, Artifactory, and Backstage
• Act as a senior technical escalation point across delivery, security, and engineering teams
• Provide cloud platform support, including incident resolution and troubleshooting
• Coach and mentor junior engineers, encouraging Dev Ops best practices
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and external partners to ensure successful delivery

We are a large organization undergoing a significant Azure cloud transformation and are looking for a senior-level Azure Dev Ops Engineer to support the delivery of a modern, secure, and highly automated cloud platform. This contract role is hybrid, based in London, and ideal for a hands‑on Dev Ops specialist with deep Azure expertise and a strong Infrastructure-as-Code background.
