Marketing Data Analyst is a FTSE
100 fintech operating across five continents, serving over 700,000 clients and handling billions in transactions. The role focuses on analysing marketing data to drive insights, optimise campaigns, and improve marketing effectiveness across IG's initiatives. The role involves collaborating with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to provide data-driven insights and to be the main point of contact for data and performance within Marketing.
- Analyse marketing campaign performance across digital channels
- Provide insights on customer acquisition, LTV, attribution, engagement, and retention
- Support segmentation and targeting strategies with data analysis
- Collaborate with marketing teams to optimise campaign performance
- Build automated data pipelines and dashboards to minimise repetitive tasks and enable data self-service
- Act as the POC for all data-related questions on Marketing and own the domain area
- Experience in marketing analytics with a track record of owning analytics strategy end-to-end
- Proven ownership of experimentation and measurement frameworks, designing A/B testing programmes, building attribution models, and defining the KPIs the business is measured against
- Track record of advising senior/exec stakeholders, using data to shape marketing strategy and challenge assumptions
- Experience working autonomously in fast-paced environments, able to prioritise without heavy oversight
- Strong visualisation skills with experience building self-serve dashboards/reports used across the business
- Confident with SQL and hands-on experience contributing to modifying and maintaining data pipelines
- Experience using marketing analytics tools like GA, Braze, Appsflyer
- Experience using tools like DBT
