Release Manager - 3 month initial contract - £500 per day (via umbrella) - London - Hybrid

Our client is looking for a Release Manager to join them on a 3 month initial contract. This would be a hybrid role, 2 days per week in the office in London.

You will support the end-to-end management of both frontend and backend releases across our clients eCommerce sites. They operate across several brands, each with multiple markets.

Key responsibilities:

Own and maintain the release schedule, ensuring releases are on track, stakeholders informed and development teams aligned
Monitor release progress and ensure that any blockers, risks or deviations are flagged
Coordinate with the development teams and produce clear release and post release reports

Experience:

Experience with software development release management - ideally having worked in eCommerce
Strong understanding of SDLC and agile/scrum methodologies
Familiarity with release tooling such as Jira, Confluence, CI/CD pipelines
Experience with 'On demand' releases would be highly beneficial
