This is an excellent opportunity for a Data Analyst to join a highly data-driven financial services business on a critical regulatory programme. You'll play a key role in delivering accurate data analysis and reporting, working on high-profile projects that directly impact customer outcomes and regulatory compliance.

The Role

As a Data Analyst, you will support a major regulatory and customer remediation programme, working with complex datasets to deliver accurate reporting and data extracts.

Key responsibilities include:

Writing, optimising, and maintaining SQL queries to support analysis and reporting requirements
Extracting, manipulating, and validating large volumes of data
Supporting regulatory reporting and customer remediation activities
Working with complaints and operational datasets to provide actionable insights
Handling high volumes of data requests from internal stakeholders
Producing accurate data extracts and reports with a strong focus on data quality
Collaborating closely with analytics teams and business stakeholders across the organisation
Contributing to the successful delivery of a business-critical programme

Your Skills & Experience

Strong commercial experience using SQL on a daily basis
Proven ability to manipulate, transform, and analyse large datasets
Experience producing large-scale data extracts and supporting reporting requirements
Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to data analysis
Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience working within regulated industries is advantageous
Financial services experience would be beneficial
Experience with Tableau or a similar visualisation tool is desirable
Knowledge of customer complaints, remediation, or regulatory reporting processes would be advantageous
