Analytics Engineer (12 Month FTC)

Fully Remote (UK)

Up to £90,000 + benefits

This is an excellent opportunity to step into a high-impact Analytics Engineer role within a growing, mission-driven organisation. You will take ownership of critical data models and pipelines, ensuring business continuity while contributing to the ongoing development of a modern data platform. The Role

  • Take ownership of billing automation pipelines and ensure they continue running effectively
  • Complete in-flight data modelling projects and contribute to new model development
  • Build and maintain dbt models, including fact and dimension tables and metric layers
  • Collaborate closely with data engineering to support the end-to-end data platform
  • Review SQL and dbt work from analysts, supporting best practices and consistency
  • Contribute to improving data quality, structure, and governance across the platform

Your Skills & Experience

  • Strong commercial experience with dbt, including building and maintaining data models
  • Advanced SQL skills and working knowledge of Python in a modern data environment
  • Experience working with cloud-based data platforms such as a lakehouse architecture
  • Understanding of data modelling principles, including star schemas and data transformation
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-moving and evolving environment
  • Comfortable collaborating across teams and reviewing or guiding others’ work
  • Exposure to Databricks is beneficial but not essen
  • Experience in regulated environments or data-sensitive industries is advantageous
