Microsoft Cloud & Modern Work Practice Lead

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Microsoft Practice Lead to join on a full time permanent basis. You will be responsible for leading and nurturing a team of professional services colleagues, overseeing their responsibilities in providing clients with services ranging from discovery, design, implementation, migration, to governance. This is a hybrid role with weekly visits to our City of London office.

• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Cloud and Modern Work technologies, with strong experience across Microsoft 365, Azure, Microsoft Entra , security, compliance, collaboration and productivity solutions. Possesses a strong understanding of how Microsoft technologies, including AI, Copilot and agentic capabilities, can be applied to deliver business outcomes and support digital transformation. Demonstrates the ability to guide AI strategy, adoption, governance and roadmap discussions with clients, helping shape AI-enabled service offerings, practice capabilities and future growth opportunities.
  
  Demonstrates awareness of Audio Visual (AV), Microsoft Teams Rooms, Teams Telephony and Contact Centre technologies, with experience of Microsoft Teams and Cisco collaboration or contact centre solutions considered desirable.
• Awareness of complementary technologies and partner solutions that support Microsoft Cloud and Modern Work services, including telephony, contact centre, audio visual (AV), device management and workplace collaboration platforms.
• Demonstrates a strong understanding of Microsoft Cloud and Modern Work strategy, governance, adoption and lifecycle management, ensuring the practice remains aligned to market demand, Microsoft vendor direction, client requirements and Cisilion business objectives.
• Possesses, upholds, and consistently enhances an appropriate level of awareness in technical delivery and project methodologies, gained through prior involvement in complex projects, training, vendor relationships, industry engagement, and participation in trade/vendor events.
• Demonstrates a strong desire and proven capability to deliver high-quality projects and outputs, coupled with effective team leadership.
• Exhibits exceptional skills in ongoing team and budget management, organisation, reporting of business metrics, governance, and communication in all forms.
• Successfully balances the enhancement of the Cisilion brand with meeting the requirements of their team.
• Demonstrates extensive commercial awareness, adept at safeguarding the interests of Cisilion in all aspects of professional services delivery.
• Consistently showcases comprehensive leadership and management experience, with the ability to define technical strategy, develop practice capability and provide guidance across Microsoft Cloud and Modern Work technologies.
• Continuously exhibits a commitment to delivering quality and consistency while striving for improvement and excellence.
• Brings prior experience from working in an IT Services organisation, IT channel, or value-added reseller.
