I am recruiting for a Junior IT Procurement Manager in Dartford to support IT Procurement activities across hardware, software, and SaaS, ensuring compliance, cost optimisation, and vendor relationship management.
Key Responsibilities- Review, analyse, draft, and revise IT vendor agreements to align with business and legal expectations.
- Determine and negotiate pricing agreements, monitoring ongoing spends and benchmarking across vendors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to support business needs.
- Ensure procurement processes adhere to legal, financial, and compliance governance.
- Report on category performance, including savings, pipeline, risks, and issues.
- Work closely with IT governance teams, vendor management, ITAM and SAM to ensure lifecycle management.
- Manage IT contracts, terms and conditions, and entitlement workflows for hardware and software assets.
- Act as a champion for hardware, software, and SaaS solutions by maintaining good market and technical knowledge.
- Strong technical knowledge of IT categories and vendor operating models.
- Good understanding of IT Contract Management, SAM, and ITAM platforms.
- Demonstrated experience in procurement or vendor roles, preferably in business partnering environments.
- Comprehensive knowledge of best practice procurement principles.
- Proven ability to develop and strengthen vendor relationships.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills, with ability to interpret data effectively.
- Organised and capable of managing multiple disciplines simultaneously.
- Resilient and adaptable when facing challenges.
- A genuine interest in IT and related technologies.
- Experience in cost optimisation or IT governance functions.
- Familiarity with software licensing and SaaS lifecycle management.
