  • Developing and maintaining scripting‑based data processing tools, utilising Python, SQL and other relevant technologies to streamline data management, validation and transformation workflows
  • Collaborating with BIM, Digitalisation, CAD, engineering, and information management teams to integrate GIS, FME and other digital solutions with wider project systems (e.g., Project Wise, CDE platforms)
Your success will be grounded by
  • Relevant technical qualification in GIS, Geography, Geomatics, Computer Science or a related discipline
  • Strong understanding of GIS, CAD, BIM and geospatial data standards used across UK infrastructure projects and by major clients
  • Hands‑on experience with GIS toolsets, particularly Esri ArcGIS (Pro, Online, Enterprise) and FME for data processing, validation and integration
  • Practical experience delivering GIS solutions on large-scale infrastructure or rail projects in the UK (HS2 experience beneficial)
  • Ability to implement and support digital workflows, including configuration, testing, data validation and adopting new features or add‑ons
  • Willingness to learn and develop, seeking out new knowledge, technologies, and best practices within GIS and digital engineering.
