This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Finance Systems Analyst to work within a collaborative Application Support Technology team, helping to optimise finance systems, improve user experience, and support business-critical processes.

As a Finance Systems Analyst, you will provide application support for finance management systems, ensuring users receive effective, timely support while contributing to system improvements and ongoing optimisation. You will use your strong Unit4 and SQL skills to troubleshoot issues, analyse data, support integrations, and maintain high-performing finance applications.

Finance systems are critical to delivering efficient and effective services across the organisation. We need someone who can help maintain stability, resolve technical and functional issues, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement, ensuring our finance systems meet business needs and support operational excellence.

This role sits within the Application Support Team in technology and reports to the Finance Systems Manager. You will work closely with colleagues across Technology, Finance, and wider business teams to ensure finance applications are well supported, maintained, and continuously improved.

• To provide day-to-day support for finance management applications, with a strong focus on Unit4 systems.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues, ensuring timely resolution and excellent service to users.
• Write and maintain SQL queries to support reporting, analysis, troubleshooting, and data validation.
• Support system upgrades, testing, configuration changes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and recommend effective system solutions.
• Maintain system documentation, support materials, and knowledge articles.
